How to navigate relationships and interactions in the corporate world as a religious person (Plus 4 verses from the bible)

Shalom, interacting with other people can be so difficult sometimes and i think it's not spoken about enough. Soft skills like listening, speaking and body language are something we are just expected to know how to do. Some public schools have children do activities to develop these skills, some parents teach their own children how to effectively interact with others, and some children, the intelligent human beings they are, naturally pick these things up. But...... If you missed developing these skills as a child, good luck, in adult life it's not really spoken about. I have personally only received communication training through sales jobs.  

When needing instruction in adulthood many people , like myself, get their instruction on how to interact with others from the bible; do not lie, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, etc et etc. The probelm is this world is growing increasingly more secular, increasing the variety of ethics and human interaction standards. This amalgamation of beliefs, ethics and morals causes, amongst many things, friction in areas where integrity is expected. Because business is simply two or more people interacting things can get difficult when what one party thinks is right, is not what you, or the creator, thinks is right.

A real life example of standing on religious principle

For example, one of your business partners is enticing you to go against scripture and what God says is right. They want you to lie to a prospect and make up a fake case study. A small lie, a minor tale for some people, HOWEVER, as children of the most high we know that it's wrong to lie, even for as something as little as that. What should you do? You want to sign the client. You don't want an argument with your business partner. What should you do? I can tell you this, never ever turn your back on God and his commands. God loves you more than you love that money, more than you love that business partner. It is written that he will bless those whom he loves and whom love him so don't worry. Flee from that scarcity mindest, the mindest that you must sin in order to survive. I see so many people stuck with this fear. Have they not heard the good news? Obviously not, or they have little faith.

Be brave enough to confront the tempation or tempter. If they don't respect you or your deciosns, leave. Stand firm in yout beliefs and say no. God will have something or someone better.  

Examples of God providing for those who love him

These are examples taken from the old testament and new testament. The verses taken from the books of Luke and Matthew are Yahshua, Jesus, speaking.

The verse from 1 Kings is God feeding the prophet Elijah after he was told to flee into the ravine to save his life during a period of Ba'al and Ashera pole worship in Israel.  

Luke 12:24 (ESV)

‍Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!

Psalm 127:2 (CJB)

In vain do you get up early and put off going to bed, working hard to earn a living; for he provides for his beloved, even when they sleep.

Matthew 6:25 (CJB)

Therefore, I tell you, don’t worry about your life — what you will eat or drink; or about your body — what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing?

1Kings 17:4, 6 (CJB)

4. You are to drink from the stream, and I have ordered the ravens to feed you there. 6. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the stream.

Lessons summarised

As you can see from the scripture above, God provided for Elijah, Yahshua later spoke the same message, God will provide for you.

So then, if God provides, do not offend God triyng to provide for yourself. Instead, focus on not offending God so that he will provide for you.  

Have faith and flee from the fear that the world puts into us.
